Zyra is the name of an individual or location associated, directly or indirectly with Regula I, and possibly Project Genesis.
Cargo crates labeled "Zyra" and "Bellus" were among the containers found in the Genesis cave on Regula. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
This reference is homage to the film When Worlds Collide, in which Zyra is a planet to which Humanity escapes after Bellus collides with Earth.
