The ECS Fortunate, a Y-class ship.

Y-class starships were a common freighter type in the Earth Cargo Service in the 22nd century.

Ships of this class were usually armed with a single low-yield plasma cannon; however, most captains have the weapons updated to defend against pirates. They are able to haul 20 kilotons at a maximum speed of Warp 1.8. The crew and family complement of a Y-class cargo ship was approximately two dozen. (ENT: "Fortunate Son")
