The Xendi Sabu system was a star system situated close to Federation space and the territory of the Ferengi Alliance. Xendi Starbase 9 and the star system Maxia Zeta are close to this system.
The USS Stargazer was returned to the Federation in this system by DaiMon Bok in 2364. (TNG: "The Battle")
The Xendi Kabu system in "Bloodlines" was intended to be the same system; the name was mistakenly changed in a late draft of that episode's script. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion 2nd ed., p. 294)
