William Meader (4 July 190415 April 1979; age 74) was an actor who played Lindstrom in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "Court Martial". He filmed his scenes on Monday 3 October 1966, Wednesday 5 October 1966, on Friday 7 October 1966 and Monday 10 October 1966 at Desilu Stage 9 and Stage 10.

Meader worked steadily in Hollywood from the mid 1930s to the late 1960s, appearing in over 200 films and television episodes, often in uncredited bit roles. He also worked as stand-in for actor Fredric March.

He appeared in When Worlds Collide (1951, starring Richard Derr and John Hoyt and featuring Leonard Mudie. Other classic films in which he appeared include The Lost Weekend (1945), The Blue Dahlia (1946, with Anthony Caruso), Unconquered (1947, with Marc Lawrence), The Big Clock (1948, with Richard Webb), Bob Hope's The Paleface (1948, with Sam Bagley, Nick Borgani, Noble Chissell, and Eleanore Vogel). Appointment with Danger (1951), and The Carpetbaggers (1964, with Paul Baxley, Peter Duryea, Ed McCready, and James B. Sikking). He also appeared in sixteen episodes of Lucille Ball's TV show The Lucy Show (1962-1968).
