William Boyett (192729 December 2004) Born in Akron, Ohio, he died in Mission Hills, California. William played the role of San Francisco police lieutenant Dan Bell in TNG: "The Big Goodbye". He also appeared as a policeman in TNG: "Time's Arrow, Part II".

William stared in Forbidden Planet with George D. Wallace in 1956. One year later in 1957 he stared with Jean Simmons in Until They Sail. In 1971 he acted with William Shatner in Vanished. In 1978 William stared in How the West Was Won, other actors that appeared on the show were Harris Yulin, George D. Wallace, William Shatner and Fionnula Flanagan. A year later in 1979 he portrayed Gen Ward Hoffenberg in Ike, Jonathan Banks also acted in Ike.

In 1984 he appeared in Getting Physical with Spice Williams. Again in 1984 he acted in Sam’s Son with Hallie Todd. Two years later in 1986 he stared with Terry Farrell in The Deliberate Stranger. Again 1986 he acted with George D. Wallace in Native Son. One year later in 1987 he appeared in The Hidden with Wren T. Brown and Michael Nouri.

In 1991 he acted in The Rocketeer with Clint Howard and Max Grodenchik. In 1994 he stared with William Wellman Jr. in Blood Run.

Boyett passed away on December 29, 2004 at the age of 77.
