Wendy Hughes (born 29 July 1952; age 71) is an Australian actress from Melbourne, Victoria. She played Lieutenant Commander Nella Daren in the sixth season episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation entitled "Lessons".

She has appeared in several television and film projects. She had a recurring role as Dr. Carol Blythe throughout the first season of Homicide: Life on the Street (1993) and co-starred with Stephen Collins, Bob Gunton, Mark Metcalf, and Tim Ransom in the 1991 mini-series A Woman Named Jackie, detailing the life of former President of the United States John F. Kennedy (played by Collins). She also appeared in the 1989 TV movie The Heist, with Noble Willingham, and the 1990 TV movie Donor, with Marc Lawrence and Larry Cedar.
