Captain W. Bligh was the commander of the USS G'Mat.
In 2370, his vessel visited the C-111 system. The G'Mat was due to arrive at station Deep Space 9 on stardate 47560.5 (DS9: "Whispers")
Captain Bligh was never mentioned or shown, but was simply listed in an okudagram graphic of an arrival roster on a viewscreen. This character was named after Vice Admiral William Bligh, who is best known as commanding officer of HMAV Bounty during the infamous mutiny.
