Volan II was the second planet in the Volan planetary system. This planet was located on the Cardassian side of the Demilitarized Zone, and was the site of a Federation colony. William Samuels, the Federation colonist who confessed to the 2370 bombing of the Bok'Nor (possibly under duress) while in Cardassian captivity, lived as a farmer on Volan II for nearly twenty years.
