The Vodrey Nebula is an interstellar gas cloud located on the Federation-Klingon border, near the Maranga system. In 2370, a delayed rendezvous with the USS Kearsarge allowed the stellar dynamics department on the USS Enterprise-D to complete a study of the Vodrey Nebula. (TNG: "Firstborn")
- The nebula was named by Star Trek screenwriters after fan William F.B. Vodrey, who had written to suggest the use of the name Kearsarge for a Starfleet vessel.
