Vodka martini was an alcoholic Earth beverage prepared by substituting vodka for gin in a martini.
While at Vic Fontaine's Las Vegas lounge in the holosuite, Julian Bashir ordered a vodka martini "stirred, not shaken." (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
This was an homage to James Bond, who often says "shaken, not stirred".
