Initially identified in "Duet" as a "Kobheerian Captain", stock footage of the Viterian would later be reused (with an Avery Brooks voiceover) for "Second Skin", where Benjamin Sisko used the holo-filter to appear as a Kobheerian who was identified as Captain Viterian. Since Sisko was attempting to illegally traverse Cardassian space, and because he used a legitimate Kobheerian freighter name to ensure his success, it is equally likely that his use of the name Viterian was equally legitimate.
