The Enterprise encountered a Vissian starship in 2153. The engine core of the Vissian vessel was constructed of over 200 elements, and had no need for magnetic confinement due to special fuel injection processes. Much larger than the Enterprise, the ship could support family-style quarters and carried at least one stratopod for scientific operations. (ENT: "Cogenitor")
