The Vinri system was an inhabited planetary star system in the Delta Quadrant. The inhabitants were described as "mostly harmless".

In 2378, after kidnapping Captain Janeway and The Doctor, Zet and Nar were going to leave Captain Janeway in the Vinri system, as she wasn't particularly useful as a hostage. (VOY: "Renaissance Man")
