The Vidiian starship was a type of starship utilized by the Vidiian Sodality in 2371. This class of vessel could be operated by a crew of two, and was evenly matched for speed with an Intrepid-class starship.

That year, the USS Voyager pursued this type of ship from a planetoid in the Delta Quadrant, after its occupants, Dereth and Motura had stolen Neelix's lungs.

The ship eventually dropped out of warp, and entered a station, hidden within a large asteroid, with interior walls that emanated severe electro-magnetic interference. Voyager tracked the ship's ion trail into the asteroid.

Almost immediately, the Vidiians used a type of dampening field that began to bleed energy from Voyager's warp nacelles at a rate of seven percent per minute.

In a last ditch effort to pinpoint the Vidiian ship, Voyager fired a continuous phaser beam, at a minimum power level, which reflected off the station's bulkheads until the beam encountered the Vidiian ship. When the craft was discovered, the Vidiian crew attempted to engage their ship's engines but were transported from the ship onto Voyager before they could escape. (VOY: "Phage")
