The Veridian system was a star system with six planets, not far from the Amargosa star in the Alpha Quadrant.
In an alternate timeline, Dr. Tolian Soran collapsed the Veridian sun with a trilithium device and the entire system was annihilated by a level-12 shock wave. (Star Trek Generations)
The star chart seen in "Generations" depicted the location of planets, stars, and star systems in the Alpha Quadrant.
