The M-class world Veridian IV was the fourth of six planets in the Veridian planetary system. The system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The planet had two moons, and, as of 2371, was home to a pre-industrial humanoid society with a population of 230 million. (Star Trek Generations)
In an alternate timeline in 2371, Dr. Tolian Soran's plan to collapse the Veridian sun succeeded and the entire Veridian system, including Veridian IV, was annihilated by the resultant shock wave.
