The Verath system was a planetary system. This system was located in the Gamma Quadrant. A planet in this system was the homeworld to the ancient Verathan civilization.

Vash visited the Verath system while in the company of Q, and brought back a Verathan artifact, a stone statue showing the prime ossemite Drohlak, which she auctioned off at Deep Space 9 in 2369. (DS9: "Q-Less")
