The Vellorian Mountains are a geographical feature of planet Barkon IV.
In 2370, a Federation probe crashlanded here. Lt. Cmdr. Data was sent to retrieve the probe, but was damaged by an explosion. He then travelled over 100 kilometers (or 200 seltons in local measurement) to the nearest inhabited village. There some people belived he was an iceman living in the Vellorian Mountains.
