Vascular adhesive was a component of Tessic's species medical equipment used to heal injured arteries.
In 2152, Doctor Phlox offered E'lis his osmotic eel which "ingests a little blood when healing an injured artery". E'lis kindly refused stating she would use a vascular adhesive instead. (ENT: "Marauders")
