In regards to the Beta 5 computer featured article nomination, in accordance to our featured article nomination policy:
- "If you object to an article, participate in the discussion. Don't just post an objection to a nomination and then disappear. If you commit to objecting to an article, you should stick around to see your objection through. This is only fair to the writers of the nominated articles, since a successful nomination requires a unanimous vote."
Because the article was rewritten 3 days ago, and due to either be featured or archived in the next 24 hours, as it is currently, your final committal to your initial vote is still pending resolution or withdrawl. Please make an attempt to follow our policies in such matters and in committing yourself to your votes. Thanks. :) --Alan del Beccio 04:48, 11 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Starship Class Templates
Edit
I've made a list of all starship classes that have more three or more named ships. I figured this could come useful for your templates. Once it's all sorted out in Ten Forward, I'll be willing to help with the classes. Here's the list, with the ones you have already completed:
- Akira-class
- Ambassador-class (completed)
- Andromeda class
- Apollo class
- Challenger class
- Class F shuttlecraft (and maybe other shuttlecraft templates)
- Constellation-class (completed)
- Constitution-class (completed)
- D'Kyr type
- D'deridex-class
- "DY classes" (for DY-100 class, DY-500, DY-732, etc.)
- DY-500 ("DY classes" would supersede the need for this)
- Daedalus class
- Danube class
- Defiant-class (completed)
- Deneva class
- Excelsior-class (completed)
- Freedom class
- Galaxy-class (completed)
- Galor-class
- Hermes class
- Intrepid-class (completed)
- Istanbul class
- K't'inga-class
- Maquis raider
- Mediterranean class
- Miranda-class (completed)
- NX-class (probably including the NX prototypes and mirror universe ships)
- Nebula-class (completed)
- New Orleans class
- Niagara class
- Nova class
- Oberth-class
- Olympic class
- Renaissance class
- Rigel class
- Steamrunner-class
- Surak class (Vulcan) (might also include Surak class)
- Sydney class
- Vor'cha-class
- Wambundu class
- Whorfin class
I'm not sure how many you plan on doing, or if you only want to do established classes, as some of the ones above are conjectural designs or ship "types."--Tim Thomason 21:10, 29 Aug 2005 (UTC)
