re:203.76.97.226Edit

No need to apologize, it's good to bring vandalism to my (or any other administrators) attention. However, I think it's the best to just revert those "one-time" vandalisms silently. Most offenders don't return anyway. After a second time, he should be warned on his talk page, the next time he should be blocked. Thanks, Cid Highwind

{{pna-incomplete}}Edit

Please don't change this to {{stub}}, especially where it is coupled with information requests on the talk page. The stub template is largely depreciated, and is discouraged due to misuse. In addition, always check as to whether the PNA request has been fulfilled before removing. -- Michael Warren | Talk 14:53, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

It's mainly because the pna template attracts attention (as it is meant to) and shows that something needs fixing, which isn't always the case with stub. The reason we don't really use {{stub}} anymore is because it was frequently being used on articles on which no further information could be provided anyway, and was becoming overwhelming. Therefore, we prefer that {{pna-incomplete}} be used where possible. -- Michael Warren | Talk 14:59, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

repeated editsEdit

Hey, I noticed you made 20 edits to Eddington in the space of half-an-hour -- this is stressful to the database, is there anyway you could open the article for editing and make only two or three edits rather than 20 minor ones?

MA policy states that making multiple minor edits should be avoided whenever possible -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 01:40, 6 May 2005 (UTC)

  • Oh yeah - no problem. I thought my battery was going to go dead. Anyways, I'm finished with edits on it for now - so that should cut back on the stress. -- Dmsdbo 01:42, 6 May 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, I was just trying to help. I havent posted here before, but I like what I read a lot, especially McCy, and it was a very good article. I wont post there again, I promise. Gvsualan's arguements seemed so silly, tho. 24.47.59.222 21:03 6 May 2005 (UTC)
