A Telsian miner
The Telsian Miner was contacted by Voyager in an attempt to find an alien trader by the name of Gar. Gar had stolen the Doctor's matrix and sold it. The miner told Janeway that he knew Gar and had dealings with him. He said that Gar had cheated him He sold stolen induction units to the miner, but stole Iridium from the miner. He directed Voyager to a man named Kipp who might have more information on Gar. (VOY: "Critical Care")

A Telsian miner
The Telsian Miner #1 was one of two miners who were cheated by Dala and her team of con artists who were impersonating Janeway and the Voyager crew. They stole several hundred kilograms of Bolomite from the miner. They were to trade Dilithium for it, but ran off claiming an neutronic storm had forced them to leave orbit. (VOY: "Live Fast and Prosper")

The Telsian Miner #2 was one of two miners who were cheated out of Bolomite by a group of con artists who were impersonating member of the Voyager crew. The con artists were suppose to trade Dilithium for Bolomite, but told the miner that a storm forced them to leave orbit and that they would return. (VOY: "Live Fast and Prosper")
