Skrreean refugees arrived at Deep Space 9 in search of the "planet of sorrow" which was a Skrreeans legend which said this would be were the people would settle.

They believe that Bajor was that planet, but the Bajoran Provisional Government refused to allow them to settle on Bajor.(DS9: "Sanctuary")
