Gideon guard

The Gideon guard was a native of the planet Gideon. He was ordered to keep a watch on James T. Kirk, who was being used unwittenly as a means to introduce disease to the planet's population.

The Gideon guard was played by Jay Jones.

Gideon native

This Gideon Native was part of an intolerable population explosion on his planet, which made life miserable. He like other Gideons were immune to disease, since they lived in a germ free enviroment.

The Gideon native was played by William Blackburn.

Gideon natives

These Gideon natives were seen by Captain Kirk when he discovered that he was being used to spread Vegan choriomeningitis, an infection that is fatal if untreated. Kirk had recovered, but remained a carrier.

The Gideons were suffering from an intolerable population explosion, since they lived in a germ free enviroment. His blood was to be used so the population of Gideon could be infected and reduce the population.

The Gideon natives was played by unknown actors and actresses.
