This explosive was intended for precision charge patterns using standard microwave pulse ignition devices. Per SFRA 3983 and Starfleet Safety Directive 3984/A, which was updated on stardate 43094.3, this explosive was banned for use on Class K planets or in cryogenic substrates. In 2367, this explosive was stored aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D.
