The USS Zapata (NCC-33184) was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century.
In 2366, the Zapata was scheduled to rendezvous with the USS Enterprise-D at Xanthras III. (TNG: "Ménage à Troi") The ship later fought in the Dominion War during the 2370s. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight", "What You Leave Behind")

The Zapata was most likely named for Emiliano Zapata, a Mexican revolutionary hero.
