In an alternate timeline, the USS Yellowstone (NX-74751) was the prototype for the Federation Yellowstone-class runabouts that were in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century.

In this timeline, Harry Kim helped design this vessel after graduating Starfleet Academy in 2371, instead of joining the Voyager crew. The Yellowstone carried an experimental tetryon plasma warp drive. The prototype was destroyed in early 2372, after Kim and Tom Paris stole it in a bid to restore the normal timeline.
