The USS Voyeur was a fictional starship created by Tom Paris in the altered version of The Doctor's holonovel Photons Be Free.

The ship, which was based on the USS Vortex, the starship from the unaltered story by The Doctor, which in turn was based on USS Voyager, had a sleazy Emergency Medical Hologram who told bad jokes, had a terrible bedside manner, and would drug his patients to fondle them. The Doctor was outraged about this false portrayal of him but finally understood the point Tom was trying to make about his novel painting the crew of Voyager in a bad light. He tried to revise the original story before publication, but the publisher Ardon Broht had already distributed the novel. He requested all copies to be recalled, but Broht refused to acquiesce to the Doctor's request because he did not believe him to be a person with rights.
