The Volga, adrift
The USS Volga (NCC-73196) was a Danube class starship assigned to Deep Space 9.
In 2372, the Volga was used in a botanical survey of Torad IV in the Gamma Quadrant. Major Kira and the pregnant Keiko O'Brien were injured when the Volga was struck by an asteroid and one of their fuel pods exploded. (DS9: "Body Parts")
It was also to be used in response to an anticipated Dominion invasion in 2373. (DS9: "By Inferno's Light")
