The USS Truman was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century. Truman fought in the Dominion War.
A possible suspect in the murder of Hector Ilario was serving aboard Truman, but was ruled out of the investigation when logs revealed Truman had gone months without visiting the scene of the murder: Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Field of Fire")
The USS Truman was named after Harry S. Truman, who served as President of the United States of America from 1945-1953.
