The USS Strata was a Federation Geo-Terraforming vessel in service in the mid-24th century under the command of Captain Jason Stone. The Strata was the first assignment, of then, Ensign Chu'lak in 2355. (DS9: "Field of Fire")
- The Strata was only briefly seen in a computer display, and wasn't mentioned in dialogue. The name is perhaps an in-joke reference to the Terry Pratchett book of the same name, which was also concerned with Geo-Terraforming (of a sort).
