The USS Livingston was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-24th century. Benjamin Sisko and Curzon Dax met aboard the Livingston some time in the late 2350s.
During that time, Sisko and Dax witnessed a remarkable stunt by the Livingston's science officer, Kustanovich, who ate eight helpings of Andorian redbat. (DS9: "Invasive Procedures")
The Star Trek Encyclopedia states that this vessel was an Template:ShipClass starship, with a registry of NCC-34099.
According to the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, the vessel was either named after supervising producer and director David Livingston, or (jokingly) for Picard's lionfish (p. 88).
The Livingston was later mentioned in the novel Hollow Men.
