The USS Lalo (NCC-43837) was a Federation starship, a Mediterranean-class transport-type vessel in the 24th century.

Together with the farming colony on Coltar IV, the USS Lalo reported experiencing the Manheim Effect in 2364. The captain of the ship described the time distortion as a "hiccup." (TNG: "We'll Always Have Paris")

In late 2366, the USS Lalo was on a freight run from Zeta Alpha II to Sentinel Minor IV. A distress signal was recieved from the Lalo at Starbase 157 at 2212 hours, in which the ship reported being under attack from a vessel, described as "cube shaped". The signal ended abruptly, and it was believed that the ship had been destroyed by a Borg cube. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part I")

Possibly named after Edouard Lalo, a French-Spanish composer of the 19th century. Class and registry are derived from the Star Trek Encyclopedia, revealed as employed by the art department in background graphics during TNG's run.
