The USS LaSalle was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century.
In 2367, the LaSalle reported unusual radiation anomalies in the Gamma Arigulon system, that were later investigated by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Reunion")
The Star Trek Encyclopedia stated that this vessel was a Deneva-class starship, with a registry of NCC-6203.
This ship was probably named for René-Robert de LaSalle, a 17th-century French explorer who, among other things, was the first to navigate the Great Lakes in North America.
