The USS Hispaniola was a Federation starship that was in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. In 2370, under the command of Captain J. Gump, the ship departed from the Sol system bound for Deep Space 9, and the ship was scheduled to arrive at the space station on stardate 47553.2. (DS9: "Whispers")
The Hispaniola was never mentioned or shown, it was briefly listed in an okudagram graphic of an arrival roster on Miles O'Brien's computer display viewscreen.
The Hispaniola was possibly named after Captain Smollett's ship in the novel Treasure Island.
