For the 23th century vessel of the same name, please see USS Grissom (NCC-638).

The USS Grissom was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century.

In 2366, the Grissom was assigned near the Sigma Eridani system and stood by to supply the USS Enterprise-D with additional hytritium during the latter's mission to Beta Agni II. (TNG: "The Most Toys")

The Grissom saw action during the Dominion War and was destroyed in 2375 at the Battle of Ricktor Prime, with a loss of all but six of a wartime crew of 1,250. Lieutenant Chu'lak was one of the survivors. (DS9: "Field of Fire")
