The USS Gorkon (NCC-40512) was an Excelsior-class Federation starship in service in the 24th century. In late 2369, the Gorkon was Admiral Alynna Nechayev's flagship for the task force that prepared for a possible renewed Borg invasion that year. (TNG: "Descent, Part I")
- Named for the Klingon chancellor Gorkon, who was one of the major promoters of peace between the Federation and the Klingon Empire.
