The USS Fredrickson (NCC-42111) was a Federation Excelsior-class starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century.
In 2371, the Fredrickson was docked at Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in orbit of Mars. (VOY: "Relativity")
The ship was heavily damaged in one of the early battles of the Dominion War, and needed to be towed away from the battle zone. The ship was a member of the Second Fleet. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")
The Fredrickson was represented by the relabeled Excelsior studio model, built for VOY: "Flashback" for its first appearance, and was the last time this physical model was used. It was later rendered as a CGI-version. It was named after DS9 scenic artist Anthony Fredrickson [1] and was featured in the Inside Starfleet Archives feature of the TNG Season 2 DVD release.
