BackgroundEdit

Captain Kirk noted that there were 1600 crewmembers spread across the 4 ships of the war games attack force. Assuming equal complements, it can therefore be conjectured that there were 400 aboard the Excalibur during the exercise. Commodore Wesley reported that 12 of these personnel were killed in M-5's first attack.
