The USS Destiny was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet. In 2375, the Destiny was under the command of Captain Raymer.

In that year, the Destiny was assigned to transport the Dax symbiont from Deep Space 9 to Trill following the death of Dax's previous host, Jadzia. Before reaching Trill, Dax suffered a turn for the worse, necessitating implantation in Ezri Tigan, the only Trill serving aboard the ship. The ship carried at least one medical officer and a ship's counselor, to whom Ezri served as an assistant. (DS9: "Image in the Sand", "Shadows and Symbols")

The Destiny subsequently joined the Seventh Fleet in the offensive to retake the Kalandra sector. (DS9: "Afterimage")

Ensign Brinner Finok was a member of the Destiny's crew. (DS9: "Prodigal Daughter")

The games Star Trek: Armada and Star Trek: Armada II, as well as the 3rd edition of the Star Trek Encyclopedia (citation needededit), all present this ship as a Sovereign-class starship.
