The USS Denver was a Federation colony ship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid 24th century. Its standard crew complement was 23.

On stardate 45587.9, the Denver was hit by a Cardassian gravitic mine while transporting 517 colonists to the Beloti sector. The ship was forced to crash-land on a planet in the Mericor system. The USS Enterprise-D responded to the disaster and provided medical assistance to the survivors. (TNG: "Ethics")
