The USS Curry (NCC-42254) was a 24th century Federation Curry-type starship operated by Starfleet. Curry fought in the Dominion War.
In early 2374, the Curry was incorporated in among the remains of the Second Fleet. It had suffered a massive hull breach to its saucer section. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")
The ship's registry had erroneously been listed in fan resources as NCC-45617, but the ship's true number was uncovered during discussion of a photo of the model in the Star Trek Communicator. [1] It was given the unofficial designation of Shelley-class by several internet resources. The design of the Curry was similar to that of the Raging Queen.
This ship was created by Dan Curry (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine visual effects staff), for whom the first vessel seen on screen was named.
