The USS Curry (NCC-42254) was a Federation Curry-type starship that was in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. Curry fought in the Dominion War.
In early 2374, the Curry was incorporated in among the remains of the Second Fleet. It had suffered a massive hull breach to its saucer section. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")
The ship's registry had erroneously been listed in fan resources as NCC-45617, but the ship's true number was uncovered during discussion of a photo of the model in the Star Trek Communicator. [1] It was given the unofficial designation of Shelley-class by several internet resources. The design of the Curry is similar to that of the Raging Queen.
This ship was created by Dan Curry (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine visual effects staff), for whom the first vessel seen on screen was named.
