The USS Clavyn was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-24th century.
Anaanda Ziff was once assigned to this vessel. Her other assignments included the USS Peterson, the USS Malone, and the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Eye of the Beholder").
This vessel's name was visible as a graphic in personnel file, not spoken in dialog. The name seems to be an in-joke reference to mailman Cliff Clavin from the Paramount Pictures TV show Cheers. On the computer monitor, the ship's name is misspelled Clavyn.
