The USS Budapest (NCC-64923) was a 24th century Federation Norway-class starship operated by Starfleet. In 2373, the Budapest fought against the second Borg invasion at the Battle of Sector 001. (Star Trek: First Contact)
The CGI rendering of this ship appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation Sketchbook: The Movies.
The Budapest was named after the Hungarian capital. (Star Trek Encyclopedia 2nd ed., p. 58)
The Budapest had been mentioned in several Star Trek: Deep Space Nine relaunch novels (especially Lesser Evil) as the former posting of Sam Bowers. The novel also mentioned that the Budapest was equipped with TR-116 rifles.
