The USS Budapest (NCC-64923) was a Federation Norway-class starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century. In 2373, the Budapest fought against the second Borg invasion at the Battle of Sector 001. (Star Trek: First Contact)
The CGI rendering of this ship appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation Sketchbook: The Movies.
The Budapest was named after the Hungarian capital. (Star Trek Encyclopedia 2nd ed., p. 58)
The Budapest has been mentioned in several Star Trek: Deep Space Nine relaunch novels (especially Lesser Evil) as the former posting of Sam Bowers. The novel also mentions that the Budapest was equipped with TR-116 rifles.
