Trout almondine is a seafood dish originating on Earth, made from trout prepared with almonds.
Trout almondine, served grilled, was part of Chef's menu aboard Enterprise NX-01 on Friday, August 13, 2152, served along with rice pilaf and green beans. However, the day before, he fell ill and Ensign Hoshi Sato took over the galley. (ENT: "Singularity")
- It was not mentioned how soon Chef got better, so it is possible trout remained on Friday's menu. In Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise, this dish was listed in the food synthesizer menu under its European spelling, trout amandine.
