The Trill system was a star system and the location of the M-class planet Trill.
When the memories of Joran Belar began to resurface within Jadzia Dax in 2371, Jadzia was taken to her homeworld in the Trill system in search of a way to save her life. (DS9: "Equilibrium")
According to Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 36, this system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. Furthermore, the system was classified as a binary star system with a G-type star and K-type star component.
