The Ressikan village tree
A tree is a large perennial woody plant found on many planets in all four quadrants of the Milky Way galaxy. A large conglomeration of trees is called a forest.
Corvan gilvos are uniquely suited to live in trees, as they closely resemble a tree branch. (TNG: "New Ground"; DS9: "The Nagus")
The villagers of Ressik planted a tree in their town square and watered it with their spare water resources. To them, the tree was a sign of the reaffirmation of life and a defiance of the drought that was afflicting the planet Kataan. The tree lived for about thirty years before the planet had become too dry (caused by the sun approaching a nova) and the tree finally died. (TNG: "The Inner Light")
Jadzia Dax and Deral climbed a tree on Meridian, something Dax had never done in eight lifetimes, as she suffered from vertigo. The tree was Deral's favorite spot on the planet. (DS9: "Meridian")
