Treason was the act of betraying one's country, organization, affiliation, or ally, usually to assist the enemy. Captain Braxton accused Captain Kathryn Janeway and Commander Chakotay of being traitors after they denied his story of being from the future to police officer Sims. (VOY: "Future's End")

In 2259 of the alternate reality, Montgomery Scott asked Captain James Kirk to beam him off the USS Vengeance, noting that he had committed treason against Admiral Alexander Marcus by sabotaging the ship. (Star Trek Into Darkness)
